Lady Canes will face Peters Twp. if Upper St. Clair wins WPIAL Championship or have a play-in game versus Pittsburgh Allderdice if Peters Twp. wins.

Hurricanes' Girls fall to Upper St. Clair 57-45
The Lady Canes opened the game with four straight turnovers then a missed shot and another turnover. Just like that Upper St. Clair was ahead 11-0. New Castle responded with a big second quarter and was trailing by only five at the half. But the second half saw USC string together a couple "threes" and the Canes just couldn't get on a roll to get back in it.
